Use of Google Calendar Data
In our application, we prioritize your privacy and data security, especially when handling Google Calendar data. This section outlines our practices regarding the access, use, storage, and sharing of your Google Calendar data:
Access to Google Calendar: Our application requests access to your Google Calendar to provide booking functionality. This access allows us to create, view, and modify calendar events on your behalf. We obtain this access only with your explicit consent and limit our use of access to these specified functionalities.
Use of Calendar Data: The data obtained from your Google Calendar is used exclusively to facilitate the scheduling and management of bookings within our application. We do not use this information for any other purpose nor do we extract personal information from your calendar entries.
Storage of Tokens: To maintain a seamless user experience, we store authentication tokens on our secure backend systems. These tokens are necessary for interacting with Google Calendar on your behalf without requiring constant re-authentication. We implement stringent security measures to ensure the safety and confidentiality of these tokens.
Sharing of Information: We do not share your Google Calendar data or tokens with third parties. Any access to this data by our application is solely for providing the booking functionality and enhancing your user experience.

What data do we collect?
Acterio collects the following data:
Name and email address. To register a new account, you will need to provide your first name, last name and email account.
Other personal information. When filling out your profile and/or altering your account information, you have the option to add more information, such as profile image and additional contact information.
Information about positions, and company etc. You, or users who administer company or Ecosystems (incubators, innovation hubs, et cetera) that you are part of within the Acterio platform, may submit information about your position at a company or your role within an Ecosystem.
Traffic data. Internally, Acterio logs data about traffic and activity such as IP addresses, pages visited and devices used.
How will we use your data?
We (Acterio) use your data in order to provide our service (The Acterio platform) to you, and toother users within the platform. We do not give or sell your personal data to third parties.
We will generate aggregated data, which contains no personally identifiable information. We use theaggregated data for statistical purposes, to monitor and improve the platform, and we may show it tothird parties such as partners and investors.
How do we process and store your data?
We take appropriate technical and organizational security measures, consistent with GDPR and industry standards to ensure that all personal data we treat is protected from unauthorized access. Access to personal data is provided only to those who need it to perform their duties.
We are constantly working to protect our customers’ integrity. Our security measures include protection of personal data, information, IT infrastructure, internal and public networks, as well as office buildings and technical facilities. Processing of data is logged and checked systematically.
Acterio uses Google Cloud Platform services for all processing and storage of user data. Textual data such as name, email address and location are stored with Cloud SQL, in a data center located in the EU.

Files uploaded by users, such as images, PDFs and video files, are stored with Cloud Storage, and located in multiple data centers across Europe.

Note that the “Customer” in these data processing terms is Acterio, not Acterio ’s users or customers)
Your data is stored for as long as you have an Acterio account. At any time, you can delete your Acterio account from your account settings page, at which point we will automatically delete all of your personal data from our systems. (Personal data may remain in backups for up to 7 days.)
What are your data protection rights?
The right to access - You have the right to request Acterio for copies of your personal data. You may contact us directly to make use of this right.
The right to rectification - You have the right to request that Acterio correct any of your personal information you believe is inaccurate, or complete information you believe is incomplete. You may contact us directly to make use of this right, or make the change yourself through the platform.
The right to erasure - You have the right to request that Acterio erase your personal data, under certain conditions. You may contact us directly to make use of this right, or use the platform to manually remove or delete any data you’ve previously provided. If you delete your Acterio account, all data associated with your user account will be immediately and automatically deleted from our database.
The right to restrict processing - You have the right to request that Acterio restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions. You may contact us directly to make use of this right.
The right to object to processing - You have the right to object to Acterio’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions. You may contact us directly to make use of this right.
The right to data portability - You have the right to request that Acterio AS transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions. You may contact us directly to make use of this right.
